10 trends - notes

 These are the trends I [uri baruchin] noted to myself during our "10 trends for the net" session (moderated by Dror F.) on Saturday. I noted that unlike the wild days of the net people tended to be quite conservative in the trends they suggested, and when you look at the list it seems surprisingly tame. However - some "bland" titles here hide the potential for truly earth shattering trends.

9. Contact Centers - in organizations - solutions via mail and web instead of call centers

    1. Digital media
    2. Home PC as Media server
    3. Entry of hardware players into consumer electronics

    3. Every widely used application will have an open source version - will accelerate development significantly
